THE JOB:

Join our dynamic team at MGM Springfield as a Guest Room Attendant, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high hospitality standards. Your key responsibilities will involve meticulously cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests, ensuring their overall satisfaction during their stay at our exclusive hotel.

STARTING RATE: $17.65 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Clean guestrooms including duties such as making bed(s), vacuuming, emptying trash, wiping down or dusting all surfaces
  • Replenish all guest amenities and information folders as needed
  • Clean bathrooms by scrubbing basins, bathtubs, shower walls and doors, toilets, and tile floors with damp rags and proper chemicals when applicable
  • Report unusual room conditions or rooms in need of repair
  • Complete all duties in accordance with the room classification checklist


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
  • Can work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
