Job Description

Responsible for cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company and departmental standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety.

• Ensure the security of guest rooms and their contents.
• Clean assigned guest rooms, including:
• Changing bed linens
• Collecting used bath linens and replenishing with fresh linens
• Dusting hard surfaces
• Vacuuming carpeted areas
• Cleaning bathroom sinks, counters, tubs, showers, toilets, etc.
• Replenishing room amenities such as tissues, soaps, etc.
• Stocking supply cart with necessary cleaning supplies
• Updating room status and completing departmental paperwork
• Reporting repairs needed to housekeeping management
• Handling guest requests promptly and efficiently
• Performing other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Capability to push/pull/maneuver a supply cart weighing approximately 200 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Physical ability to kneel, reach, stoop, bend, scrub, sweep, vacuum, and dust
• Knowledge of proper chemical use beneficial
• Ability to obtain/maintain necessary certifications/licenses
