Job Description
Responsible for cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company and departmental standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety.
- Ensure the security of guest rooms and their contents.
- Clean assigned guest rooms, including:
- Changing bed linens
- Collecting used bath linens and replenishing with fresh linens
- Dusting hard surfaces
- Vacuuming carpeted areas
- Cleaning bathroom sinks, counters, tubs, showers, toilets, etc.
- Replenishing room amenities such as tissues, soaps, etc.
- Stocking supply cart with necessary cleaning supplies
- Updating room status and completing departmental paperwork
- Reporting repairs needed to housekeeping management
- Handling guest requests promptly and efficiently
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
- Capability to push/pull/maneuver a supply cart weighing approximately 200 pounds
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Physical ability to kneel, reach, stoop, bend, scrub, sweep, vacuum, and dust
- Knowledge of proper chemical use beneficial
- Ability to obtain/maintain necessary certifications/licenses
