Job summary

The St. Anthony Hotel, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Guest Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team in downtown San Antonio, TX. You will help ensure every guest enjoys a clean, safe, and comfortable stay in a historic luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to pitch in and be a team player.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and work in confined spaces.
• Self-starting with a professional appearance.
• Able to communicate well with guests.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathroom, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors in guest rooms.
• Strip and make beds, change linens (up to 50 lbs).
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, ledges and shelves.
• Push and pull vacuum, empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens and room supplies.
• Handle keys, restock heavy cart and inspect room for cleanliness.

The St. Anthony Hotel is seeking an organized and driven Guest Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. As a Guest Room Attendant, you will be an essential part of ensuring every guest's experience at our hotel is a clean, safe, and comfortable one.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Clean and sanitize bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms overhead, bending, and stooping.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
• Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in the guest room.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Must be willing to "pitch in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Be able to communicate well with guests.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, and holidays as needed.
