Job Description

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external customers. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness standards of Belterra Casino Resort throughout the hotel tower, as directed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, positively interact with guests and staff, and handle difficult customers with resilience.
• Clean hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, employee and storage areas as directed.
• Maintain and clean all equipment used during shifts.
• Document all duties performed during the shift.
• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues.
• Follow all security protocols.
• Greet guests courteously and assist with issues within your scope to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform duties quietly and orderly, upholding room quality and service standards.
• Assist department colleagues with projects as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of housekeeping experience in hotels, motels, inns, etc.
• Flexible availability, especially on weekends.
• Ability to clean efficiently at acceptable performance rates.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses/certifications per regulations.

Skills are typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training.
