Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant for Residence Inn San Jose. The role requires maintaining clean guestrooms and delivering attentive service to guests in a busy hotel environment.

This hourly, full-time position offers compensation of $20.00–$20.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on guest satisfaction. You will work closely with housekeeping teams to uphold brand standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the full shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties and stock supplies.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for Lost and Found according to standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
