Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts in the Houston area is seeking a housekeeping associate to maintain guest rooms and the building, ensuring a safe and clean experience for guests, associates, and vendors.

The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, and to push/pull equipment up to 100 lbs, plus adherence to cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning agents, with a collaborative, attendance‑driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be able to scrub and scour surfaces and work in confined spaces.
• Be a team player and willing to pitch in to help coworkers.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and cleaning agents.
• Strip beds and change bed linens, lifting bedspreads up to 50 lbs.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, ledges, and shelves.
• Push and pull vacuum, and empty trash.
• Restock amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms.
• Sign for room keys and restock heavy carts.
