Job summary

Shaner Group is seeking a hotel housekeeping team member to clean guest rooms to franchise standards, respond to guest requests, and maintain security of rooms. The role requires flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of cleaning experience, hotel background preferred, and knowledge of chemical handling. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with guests, management, and co-workers clearly.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and handle guest requests or complaints.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Return and restock cart at end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
