Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms and public spaces in New Orleans, LA. You will follow hotel standards to clean and replenish room amenities, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for guests.

The role requires adherence to safety guidelines and the ability to manage time effectively, with opportunities to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or room cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Follow safety guidelines and hotel cleaning standards.
• Maintain high cleanliness levels with strong attention to detail.
• Manage tasks efficiently to meet daily room standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Communicate politely and effectively with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and other areas per health standards.
• Vacuum carpets and clean upholstered furniture and draperies.
• Empty trash and transport waste to disposal areas.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and amenities.
• Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas stocked and organized.
• Use hotel-approved cleaning chemicals following safety protocols.
• Sort and arrange clean linens and store properly.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, and perform waxing as needed.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces with germicides.
• Report damaged items to supervisors per protocol.
• Maintain ability to clean a set number of rooms daily.
