The Service Companies in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Guest Room Attendant to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and promptly respond to guest requests in a courteous manner. This entry-level position includes comprehensive training and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms to standards, fulfilling guest requests, operating cleaning equipment safely, and reporting maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, walk moderate distances, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs of weight on a consistent basis.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and perform other routine physical activities.
• Good verbal communication skills; pleasant and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to company and client standards (make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, replenish amenities).
• Fulfill guest requests and deliver items to guest rooms promptly and cour teously.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely per SOPs.
• Report maintenance issues, lost & found items, and guest requests to supervision.
• Maintain carts, supplies, and linen inventory; return equipment to designated areas.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection-control protocols at all times.
• Represent TSC professionally when interacting with guests, property staff, and co-workers.
• Work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Participate in training, coaching sessions, and performance feedback to improve skills and service delivery.
