Atterbury Hotel, managed by Sage Hospitality, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to transform rooms and public spaces into clean, welcoming environments. You will restock amenities, maintain cleanliness of bathrooms and floors, and ensure guest comfort with a friendly, proactive approach.

No formal education required, but a meticulous eye for detail and reliability are essential to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, products and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves items from shelves and storerooms, sets up cleaning cart with supplies, maintaining carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Cleans rooms, public areas and hallways, using ladders or stools to reach hard-to-reach areas and maintaining a clean facility.
• Replaces towels, soaps and room amenities and restocks literature as needed.
• Washes floors and maintains cleanliness of bathrooms and fixtures.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures, reaching vents and ceiling corners.
• Remakes beds with clean linens and checks for cleanliness.
• Inspects doors/windows and ensures safety and cleanliness, reporting issues.
• Secures equipment and supplies to protect hotel property.
• Maintains a friendly, courteous demeanor and performs other duties as assigned.
