Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Barnstable is seeking a Housekeeper/Room Attendant to maintain clean guest rooms and respond to guest needs. You will perform bed making, bathroom cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing linens and amenities daily to ensure a positive guest experience.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for long periods, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred.
• Requires walking and standing to a significant degree.
• Able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
• Excellent customer service focus.
• Pleasant, professional, and helpful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed.
• Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart daily.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Perform guest turn down service, as needed.
