Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant or similar role preferred.
• Detail-oriented with high cleanliness standards.
• English and Spanish language skills preferred.

• Ability to manage time and meet room turnover deadlines.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily.
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities.
• Dust and polish furniture, clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and remove trash.
• Replenish guest room supplies including toiletries and beverages.
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs.
• Report maintenance or repairs to housekeeping inspector.
• Ensure rooms meet hotel standards before arrivals.
• Follow OSHA regulations and hotel cleaning requirements.
• Provide support to housekeeping team and other duties as assigned.

Overview

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction by ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, well maintained, and properly stocked. This role involves thorough cleaning of guest rooms, attention to detail, and adhering to the hotel's service standards to provide guests with a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Responsibilities

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while having an impeccable eye for detail.

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, ensuring all areas are spotless and in good condition.
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities according to hotel standards.
• Dust and polish furniture, clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and remove trash and recyclables from rooms.
• Replenish guest room supplies, including toiletries, beverages, and room amenities.
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs in guest rooms to the housekeeping inspector.
• Ensure the overall presentation of rooms meets hotel standards before guest arrivals.
• Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirement.
• Provide additional support to the housekeeping team and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant or in a similar role is preferred.

• Ability to speak, understand English and Spanish is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk and stand 6-8 hours per day and will have exposure to outside inclementweather elements.
• The team member is occasionally required to climb and use balance. Additionally, they will frequently be asked to use hands and arms to reach, carry, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member will experience temperature fluctuations (rain, wind, heat, humidity), and moderate to high noise levels.
