Job summary

Sonesta is seeking a Room Attendant in Columbus, OH to help maintain clean, welcoming guest rooms and hotel spaces. You’ll be part of a fast-paced hospitality team, ensuring every room meets brand standards and guest expectations with a warm, service-focused approach.

Ideal candidates will bring experience in housekeeping or guest services, a keen eye for detail, and a reliable, collaborative work ethic. This role requires flexible availability, including mornings and weekends, to support guest

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, cleaning, janitorial, or guest service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and service-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, hallways, and assigned hotel areas according to brand standards and procedures.
• Replace linens, towels, amenities, and guest supplies while keeping rooms refreshed and guest-ready.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, presentation, maintenance concerns, and operational readiness during shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage closets, linen areas, and workspaces.
• Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, safety concerns, and room status updates promptly and accurately.
• Follow sanitation standards, chemical handling procedures, and hotel safety policies at all times.
• Support deep cleaning projects, VIP arrivals, and special housekeeping assignments as needed.
• Partners with Housekeeping leadership, Front Office, Laundry, and Engineering to support operations and guest satisfaction.
