Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Austin is seeking a friendly Room Attendant to keep guest rooms spotless and welcoming. You will clean, refresh, and stock amenities, ensuring spaces meet brand standards and guest expectations in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You’ll collaborate with front desk and housekeeping teams, respond to guest needs professionally, and participate in safety and sanitation routines.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, or guest service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety practices preferred.
• Positive, service-focused mindset.
• Professional communication with guests and team.
• Flexible mornings/weekends/holidays.
• Passion for hospitality and guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, and halls according to standards.
• Replace linens and amenities, refresh rooms.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas.
• Report issues and update room status.
• Respond to guest requests and service needs.
• Follow sanitation and safety policies.
• Support deep cleaning and VIP arrivals.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Office, Laundry, and Engineering.
• Help create welcoming spaces aligned with Sonesta’s People People philosophy.
• Any other duties as assigned.
