Sonesta in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to keep guest rooms and hotel spaces spotless and guest-ready. You will work in a fast-paced hospitality setting, focusing on attention to detail, guest satisfaction, and teamwork with Housekeeping leadership and other departments.

We're looking for dependable individuals who take pride in cleanliness and presentation, with flexible availability for mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, janitorial, or guest service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, hallways, and assigned areas according to brand standards and procedures.
• Replace linens, towels, amenities, and supplies while keeping rooms refreshed and guest-ready.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance needs during shifts.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, storage closets, linen areas, and workspaces.
• Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, safety concerns, and room status updates promptly.
• Respond professionally to guest requests and housekeeping needs throughout the day.
• Follow sanitation standards, chemical handling, and safety policies at all times.
• Support deep cleaning projects and VIP arrivals as needed.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping leadership, Front Office, Laundry, and Engineering teams for smooth operations.
• Create clean, welcoming spaces aligned with Sonesta's People People philosophy.
