Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Fort Benning is hiring a Room Attendant to keep rooms fresh and welcoming after guests' day. You will ensure cleanliness, restock amenities, and report repairs; you’ll assist guests with small needs and coordinate with other departments to sustain high service levels.

This is a physical role requiring fitness, lifting up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important.
• Strength – with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms.
• You’ll might need to bend and kneel to complete some activities.
• Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic maths skills.
• Flexible attitude to shifts – you may need to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rooms and suites meet our standards and are welcoming for guests.
• Assist guests with needs such as toothbrushes or directions.
• Log repairs and communicate with supervisors when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment when required.
• Minimise waste and keep supplies organized.
• Log lost and found items and reunite with owners where possible.
• Work as part of a team and coordinate with other departments.
• May assist with deep cleaning projects and turndown duties.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
