Job summary

JL Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and prepare guestrooms, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming guest experience. You will follow brand standards, maintain cleanliness, and promptly report maintenance concerns to the supervisor.

The ideal candidate is dependable and detail-oriented, taking pride in creating inviting spaces; flexibility to work weekends/holidays is often required in a 24/7 hotel operation.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned rooms efficiently.
• Ability to learn and follow established cleaning and room standards.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and housekeeping equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Dependable and able to consistently report to work as scheduled.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guestrooms according to hotel and applicable brand standards.
• Make beds and replace linens as required.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, and other surfaces.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and guestroom surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed.
• Remove trash, used linens, towels, and guest amenities.
• Replenish towels, linens, toiletries, and other guestroom supplies.
• Clean mirrors, windows, and other glass surfaces as assigned.
• Stock and organize the Housekeeping cart with necessary supplies.
• Inspect guestrooms for cleanliness and presentation before completing each room.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, safety issues, or missing items to the appropriate supervisor.
• Update or communicate room status according to hotel procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to reasonable guest requests.
• Follow established guest privacy, security, Lost and Found, and room-entry procedures.
• Properly use and store cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
• Follow all cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
