Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Room Attendant at our Washington area property. You will ensure rooms and suites are fresh and welcoming after a busy day, creating a haven for guests to relax or catch up on last-minute work.

This role requires physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The hourly pay rate is $18.40, with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401k, room discounts, and more.

Qualifications

• Fitness is important as this is a physical role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy items up to 200 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel and perform basic math and reading tasks.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain room cleanliness to ensure spaces are fresh and welcoming.
• Assist guests with requests and directions as needed.
• Inform supervisor of room service progress and repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment.
• Minimize waste and manage supplies for efficiency.
• Log lost and found items and coordinate with other departments.
