Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking team members to join the opening staff at our Hampton Inn by Hilton in downtown Columbia, Pennsylvania. The 80-room property sits near the historic Becker Pretzel Bakeries Potato Chip Factory and offers proximity to the Susquehanna River.

As part of the opening team, you will help deliver exceptional guest experiences from day one, supporting housekeeping operations and guest services.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Observe all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
