Job summary

Horseshoe Casino Tunica, part of Caesars Entertainment, seeks a meticulous housekeeper to clean and maintain guest rooms to the hotel’s high standards. Flexible schedules and teamwork within the housekeeping department are expected.

You will vacuum, dust, polish fixtures, strip beds, restock supplies, inspect rooms for maintenance, and prepare occupancy-ready spaces; about 14–16 rooms per shift, with strong guest-service focus and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively to customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout guest rooms.
• Vacuum, dust, and polish rooms and fixtures.
• Strip beds and restock linens; prepare rooms for occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving and maintaining an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the guest rooms of the Hotel.
• Vacuums and cleans all floors and carpets in guest rooms.
• Dusts and polishes all furniture.
• Scrubs, disinfects and deodorizes all bathroom fixtures.
• Strips beds, collect dirty linen, and make beds with fresh linens.
• Routinely inspects guest rooms for maintenance needs, such as burnt-out light bulbs, plumbing or electrical problems, carpentry needs, or other special problems.
• Advises housekeeping supervisor of rooms ready for occupancy.
• Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies and linen.
• Clean standard 14 to 16 rooms per shift.
• Responds to and consistently meets the needs of internal clients.
• Supports and cultivates new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions.
• Identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service.
• Delivers assignments/projects on time and completes all aspects before delivering to internal clients.
• Clearly communicates programs/services to necessary people, seeks their support and keeps them informed of changes that may impact the business.
• Keeps track of existing products/services and/or progress on new initiatives.
• Develops skills to handle increasingly complex matters.
• Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.
