General Summary Of Duties:
Provide service to hotel guest rooms which includes cleanliness, replenishing supplies, ensuring levels of standards are met, and reporting deficiencies to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable stay by the Hotel guest.
Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)
Guest Service
19% Strip and make beds
19% Replenish linens and supplies
5% Reporting room maintenance needs, and physical inspections.
Communicate in written format and or electronic device per Housekeeping guidelines the status of guest rooms on assigned station to Supervisor.
Supply necessities on Guest Room Attendants carts.
Gather and retain information that will assist in job performance, guest needs and provide pertinent information to the user.
Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)
Ability to comprehend verbal English sufficiently to understand job requests from supervisor, guests, and co-workers. Ability to understand verbal English in case of emergency situations.
Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices.
Ability to comprehend product labeling instructions/warnings to enable the safe application of products and processes within the Hotel.
Ability to complete attendant's report including simple addition skills.
Ability to operate a vacuum cleaner.
Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards.
Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
Experience Requirements
