Job summary

Larkin Hospitality in South Burlington, Vermont is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to ensure cleanliness and readiness of linens, towels and hotel textiles for guest comfort. You will operate washers and dryers, sort, wash, dry and fold items, and maintain a tidy laundry area.

Collaborating with housekeeping, you will deliver clean linens to rooms, monitor stock levels, report equipment issues promptly, and uphold safety standards while providing friendly service to guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial laundry equipment advantageous.
• Ability to operate and maintain laundry equipment efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laundry equipment (washers/dryers).
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other items.
• Inspect laundered items for stains, tears, and wear.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and request replenishment as needed.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols in the laundry area.
• Collaborate with housekeeping to deliver clean linens to rooms.
• Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions.
• Adhere to company policies and provide excellent service.
