Job summary

Level99 Entertainment in McLean, VA is hiring a Server to deliver exceptional hospitality in our entertainment venue and restaurant. You will greet guests, describe beer and food, and support the team to ensure a memorable experience.

The role requires a flexible schedule, the stamina to stand long shifts, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and handling POS transactions.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and sanitation codes and policies.
• High attention to detail and strong integrity.
• Must be 18 years or older to serve/bartend.

• Convey passion and knowledge for our beer and entertainment as part of the hospitality experience. Always be humble, recognizing mastery of beer is a life’s work
• Convey enthusiasm for our food menu. Maintain proper knowledge of the menu and food allergies within dishes. Show interest in the Level99 experience
• Approach guests with empathy and create a welcoming but not overbearing table presence.
• Be present and attentive by recognizing visual cues of guests’ needs before they realize what they need
• Work as a team at all times, inside and out of service, always looking to support one another and prioritize on behalf of the guest.
• Be proactive about keeping the server stations stocked and your section clean and clear
• Review daily tasks checklist to have the floor clean and ready for service
• Run food, bus tables and contribute to beer hall experience
• Uphold the expectation of “Full hands in. Full hands out.”
• Accurately process transactions using the POS system including guest payments and order tracking to ensure proper inventory
• Understand and follow the steps of service
• Be punctual and show up to work on time and ready to work
• Check identification of guests to verify they are of legal drinking age

• Transparency between team members and management
• Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies
• Perform all other duties needed and requested
