Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in food service, grocery or retail setting.
• Experience operating a cash register.
• Ability to stand and perform light–medium physical tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in friendly conversation, make eye contact and smile; thank customers for shopping at Wegmans.
• Scan items and process payments efficiently and accurately at the register.
• Bag items to ensure they arrive in good condition.
• Assist customers at self-checkout, manage traffic flow and troubleshoot systems.
