Job Title: Guest House Attendant 03

Location: Staten Island, NY

Salary: $20.12/hour

Employment Type: Intermittent (0-19 hrs/week)

Job Overview

The purpose of this position is to ensure that public areas, guestrooms, and laundry facilities are cleaned daily. The employee must exercise judgment and determination in performing the following duties:

• Clean lodging guest rooms, corridors, stairways, and other assigned areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest room appliances, fixtures, and linens.
• Update room status, occupancy, and checkouts accurately.
• Report maintenance issues and supply needs to supervisor.
• Perform safety procedures and use safety equipment as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• No prior experience required; ability to follow instructions and operate cleaning equipment.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, stoop, and reach for long periods.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality preferred.
