Job summary

Bob Evans Restaurants is hiring a Host/Cashier to welcome guests, seat tables, and ensure a friendly dining experience. You will assist in marketing and promotions, handle cash and credit transactions, and keep the lobby, bakery and retail areas clean and ready for guests.

Excellent guest service skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. The position offers up to $15.00 per hour, benefits including health and welfare, a 401(k) with company match, flexible scheduling, and opportunities

Responsibilities

• Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables.
• Monitors guests’ needs and the flow of the restaurant and seats guests accordingly.
• Delivers menus and packs as needed when seating guests; handles cash and credit transactions.
• Performs restroom checks, answers phone, keeps lobby, bakery and retail areas clean and stocked.
• Communicates with guests, handles complaints with manager when needed.
