Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience a plus.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent in English.
• Ability to operate a P.O.S. System and make change.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Maintain a high level of energy and a proactive approach to issues.
• Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guest service standards according to policies.
• Greets guests and arranges for seating based on preferences.
• Quotes waiting times and handles guest lists or reservations.
• Provides fast and friendly customer service.
• Operates cash register/P.O.S. System and handles payments.
• Familiar with restaurant food menu and beverages.
• Gives cash refunds or credit memos as directed.
• Coordinates the flow of the restaurant.
• Supervises in the absence of supervisor/manager.
• Assists wait staff and bus persons as necessary.
• Resolves service issues according to guidelines.
• Ensures dining and serving areas are maintained.
• Promotes current casino events and gives directions.
• Maintains confidentiality in all company matters.
