Job summary

Lone Mountain Ranch in Big Sky, Montana seeks a welcoming Host to greet guests, manage seating and reservations, and help maintain a smooth dining room flow. Qualifications

• Previous customer service, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and polished demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable communicating with guests and team members professionally and confidently.
• Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and solution-oriented during busy service periods.
• Familiarity with reservation systems, POS systems, and basic computer skills preferred.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support overall restaurant operations.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light lifting and restaurant support tasks.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating and reservations.
• Manage waitlists, reservations, and table flow during service periods.
• Communicate clearly with restaurant staff to help ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Answer guest questions about menus, dining experiences, and Ranch offerings.
• Assist with table resets, water service, and general dining room support as needed.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and inviting host stand and waiting area.
• Support take-out orders and special guest requests with attention to detail.
• Assist bartenders, servers, or other restaurant team members when needed.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented, and hospitality-focused environment.
