Cicis is seeking a friendly Guest Greeter for a part-time role in Texas. You will welcome guests, share restaurant information, and help direct seating while supporting the team to deliver a top-notch guest experience.

You will handle basic POS transactions, process payments, and assist with takeout orders. The job emphasizes reliability, good math, and strong communication in a fast-paced dining environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Experience in cashier, food service, or customer service is a plus but training is provided.
• Basic math skills to count money and give correct change.
• Clear verbal communication and a friendly, polite demeanor.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends.
• Willingness to obtain a local food handler's card if required.

Job Description

Guest Greeter is responsible for warmly welcoming guests upon arrival and creating a positive first impression. Provides information about the restaurant and services, answers basic questions, and directs guests to appropriate areas. Maintains a friendly, professional, and attentive presence while supporting the overall guest experience and assisting the team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet every customer with a friendly attitude, answer menu questions, and suggest additional items (upselling).
• Order Processing: Enter food and drink orders correctly into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Cash Handling: Accept cash, credit cards, and mobile payments, give accurate change, and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
• Order Assembly: Package takeout meals, check orders for accuracy, and hand them to customers.
• Cleanliness: Keep the front counter, guest seating areas, and drink stations clean, sanitized, and fully stocked.
• Teamwork: Communicate guest requests and special needs clearly to the kitchen crew.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Experience: Previous cashier, food service, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required (on-the-job training provided).
• Math Skills: Basic math skills to count money and give correct change.
• Communication: Clear verbal communication skills and a positive, polite demeanor.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Food Safety: Willingness to obtain a local food handler's card or certificate if required by state law.
