Main & Vine in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a Valet Attendant to provide exceptional hospitality services to guests. In this role, you will assist guests with vehicle entry/exit, transport luggage, and ensure the security of vehicles. Responsibilities include monitoring vehicle flow, supplying information about amenities, and maintaining cleanliness of parking areas. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to perform physical tasks daily. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day and run up to 200 yards frequently.
Must enter and exit customer vehicles 75 or more times daily.
Ability to lift wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, and baggage in and out of vehicles.
A valid driver's license held for at least one year.
Responsibilities
Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property.
Monitor and direct vehicle traffic on property to ensure legal parking.
Supply guests with directions and information about property amenities and services.
Monitor safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas; report hazards.
Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys.
Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
Identify and explain room features to guests.
Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms.
Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
Assist guests in and out of vehicles, including loading/unloading luggage.
Assist Concierge and Front Office staff with guest requests.
Follow all company safety and security policies.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
