Job summary

Mille Lacs Band's Taco John's location in Onamia, MN is hiring a Team Member to greet guests, prepare food, and ensure food safety and sanitation. You will interact with guests, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety procedures to provide friendly, efficient service.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old with some retail or foodservice experience and a willingness to learn. Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Six (6) months previous retail or food & beverage experience preferred.
• Must pass company pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and prepare orders with a cheerful attitude.
• Look for opportunities to enhance both the customer’s meal and experience.
• Maintain high personal standards in presentation and work habits including the provided uniform.
• Work as a team member.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards during preparation, service and cleanup.
• Carry out temperature checks and records as per company processes.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules as per the cleaning charts.
• Handle cash and use Point of Sale systems to record orders and make change.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent injury.
