Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring Store Associates in Maryland/Hancock area. You’ll deliver exceptional guest service, operate at the register or self-checkout, and help keep our stores stocked and clean. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED (in progress ok) and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• A team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self-checkout.
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases and address concerns with urgency.
• Maintain clean, stocked Shelves, coolers, and display areas.
• Restock shelves and keep the store clean and organized.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking.
