Job summary

Genghis Grill is seeking a Server to provide timely, accurate, and friendly service. You will take orders, deliver food and beverages, process payments, uphold cleanliness and safety standards, and upsell to boost sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be motivated and have a high energy level.
• Must be customer-centric, demonstrating a desire to be of service.
• Must be organized and able to excel in high-pressure environments.
• Must follow written and verbal instructions and maintain a calm demeanor.
• Must have working knowledge of our menu items including signature beverages.
• Must be respectful of all customers, managers, team members, and vendors.
• Must maintain required state and local food and alcohol certifications.
• Must be available for opens, swings, and closes including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates outstanding hospitality and service throughout each shift with customers, managers, and team members.
• Takes food and beverage orders from customers and processes payments quickly and accurately.
• Delivers food and beverages to customers in a timely manner and upsells when appropriate.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment and follows cash handling policies.
• Completes opening, shift, and closing duties; ensures servers are stocked.
• Adheres to all Genghis Grill policies and reports non-routine situations to management.
• Maintains valid state and local food and alcohol certifications.
• Supports team as needed to ensure a smooth guest experience.
