Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age (some states may require 21 to serve alcohol)
• High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred
• No prior work experience required
• Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
• A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and with federal, state and local serving regulations.
• Ability to process cash handling and credit card in compliance with policies and procedures,
• Ability to operate a computer, calculator, and phone.
• Attention to details with good organizational and efficient time management skills.
• Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and friendly food and beverage service following the CHARM service model.
• Learn the menu to explain offerings, make recommendations and upsell to guests.
• Greet guests warmly and deliver a positive, memorable visit to promote repeat business.
• Deliver food to guests and ensure orders are accurate and timely.
• Handle guest checks and payments in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Answer phones and assist guests with questions in a courteous manner.
• Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with company policy and applicable laws.
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as assigned.
