American Golf Corporation is seeking servers to deliver exceptional dining experiences for members and guests in a fast-paced environment at our California clubs. You will greet and seat guests, take orders, and ensure accurate input into the POS system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in fast-paced food service
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol; state card or certificate as required
• Flexible schedule; multitasking and prioritization
• Cash handling experience
• Knowledge of sales techniques
• Knowledge of liquor and smoking laws
• Ability to determine signs of intoxication
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math; operate POS / cash register
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat members and guests
• Take food and beverage orders and input into the POS
• Recommend menu items
• Communicate allergies or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
• Ensure orders are filled quickly, accurately, and meet quality standards
• Provide attentive service by refilling drinks and checking guest needs
• Promptly address service issues and refer to management when necessary
