Job summary

Main Event is seeking a Server Assistant to support servers and ensure guests have an amazing experience. You will help with refills, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables while keeping dining areas spotless and safe.

Greeting guests, taking drink orders, and delivering food promptly are key parts of the role, along with assisting with opening, mid-day, or closing duties. Applicants should be guest‑focused, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable communicating with management,

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus, but not required
• Guest focused mindset
• Teamwork is a must
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required
• Communicates effectively
• Sense of urgency and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards
• Greeting Guests and taking drink orders
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Supporting the Server, by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables and turning tables
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties
