Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a Security Access Specialist to help safeguard campuses. Under supervision you will screen guests, assist with de-escalation, greet visitors, and coordinate shuttle or wheelchair needs.

You’ll escalate complex issues and support routine security operations in a busy hospital environment. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and adherence to driving policies, with opportunities for varied shifts and full/part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• No prior experience required (0 years).

Responsibilities

• Screen and monitor arriving and departing guests for security threats under direct supervision.
• Assist Security in assessing potential threats using de-escalation tactics and conflict resolution.
• Greet guests and provide information about activities, departments, offices and services.
• Identify guest needs regarding golf cart, shuttle, or wheelchair services.
• Handle basic issues and refer complex ones to higher-level staff.
• Record visitor information in electronic systems and badge visitors as appropriate.
• Open passenger doors and assist guests with bags; assist with valet services as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
