Job summary

Break Time Convenience Store in Lake Ozark, MO is seeking a Sales Associate to assist customers, process transactions, and keep the store clean and stocked. You will follow company policies, operate POS systems, and help with food preparation and merchandising during assigned shifts.

Ideal candidates are friendly, reliable, with and willingness to learn, able to work weekends/holidays, and able to pass a background check and drug test. This is an on-site role supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Flexible availability to work, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and operate a computer.
• Ability and willingness to attend food safety training and obtain a Food Handler's Card.
• Physical ability to move and position products in cold environments and to stand for long shifts.
• Ability to communicate in English with customers, coworkers and supervisors.
• Successful pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet and service customers promptly and courteously; handle transactions efficiently.
• Perform merchandising activities including pricing, promotions, stocking, and fronting merchandise.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Work as a team to ensure safe, compliant store operations.
• Operate store technology and complete shift reports accurately.
• Assist in training new employees on policies and procedures.
• Prepare food items following guidelines, monitor time/temperature, and ensure freshness.
• Maintain a clean environment; ensure safety and proper product display.
