Job summary

Del Taco is seeking a Team Member for our restaurant. You will contribute to an amazing guest experience by delivering quality food, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety standards. You will operate the POS, handle cash, and help explain our menu items to guests.

The role requires standing for most of the shift, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to company policies. An independent franchisee operates this location, so employment terms are set by the franchisee.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel to assigned restaurant location.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Food Handler certification may be required.
• Ability to stand and walk for approximately 95-100% of shift including ability to bend, reach and lift and carry a max of 50 pounds.

• Delivers effective results in quality, guest service, safety, security, cleanliness and product preparation.
• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner
• Explains menu items accurately to guests
• Uses Point of Sale system to record orders and collect payment
• Follows food handling, safety and sanitations standards
• Follows Company operation policies and procedures
• Makes recommendations to enhance restaurant operations
• Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards
• Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image
