Job summary

Panera Bread in Ashland, VA is hiring a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality. You will greet guests warmly, assemble fresh foods, and support the team across service areas in a fast-paced bakery-cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Clear communication in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage guests.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food Handler's Card or training may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care.
• Assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment by following food safety standards.
• Support team by cleaning, stocking duties and helping set up the next shift.
• Work across areas such as Production, Prep, Service, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, and QC.
