Job summary

Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites is seeking a friendly server to greet guests, present menus, and guide wine pairings. You will take orders, relay to kitchen or bar, and deliver courses with garnish and care. Observe guests for needs and ensure satisfaction from start to finish.

Responsibilities include handling payments, resetting tables, and maintaining a welcoming dining room. Must have HS diploma and TIPS/food safety certification; EOE statement applies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and serve water and/or coffee upon greeting the table.
• Present menu, suggest courses and wines, answer questions about food prep.
• Take or memorize orders and relay to kitchen or bar for service.
• Garnish and decorate dishes; serve courses from kitchen/service bars.
• Observe diners and respond to requests; ensure meal is completed.
• Totals bill, accepts payment or directs to cashier; prepare for next guest.
