Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic Food Service Worker to join our Grand Rapids team. This role involves assisting in hot/cold food prep, setting up stations, and interacting with guests in serving and dining areas. You will maintain cleanliness, follow guest service procedures, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to communicate with other team members and other departments with professionalism and respect.
• Maintain a professional relationship with team members, vendor representatives, supervisors, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods and properly store food.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other products and utensils.
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas.
• Follow proper guest service procedures by smiling, making eye contact, and greeting guests.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following client and regulatory rules.
• Maintain a fast pace and multitask while performing duties.
