Maplefields at the Crossroads in Alburgh, VT is hiring for a position in our retail food service team. The role offers Full-Time/Part-Time hours with an hourly wage of $16.00–$18.00. You will greet customers, set up stations, and prepare hot and cold items while ensuring food safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in multiple different temperatures during the day.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent service throughout interaction.
• Set up food service, kitchen, prep stations, and equipment for business day.
• Prepare hot and cold food items as needed.
• Ensure utensils, napkins and condiments are available to customers.
• Check food temperatures before serving and follow safety guidelines.
• Check cold case temperatures frequently.
• Inspect products for quality and label accuracy; remove as needed.
• Take orders and serve food items per customer requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, floors, and equipment.
• Assist with deliveries and loading as required.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management.
