Job summary

The GATE Store Food Service Associate ensures customer service is the first priority for GATE operations by providing a friendly and efficient experience for our guests by performing routine food preparation and customer assistance. Collaborates with the Store Kitchen Manager and Store Manager to control store operations and inventory.

This role requires assisting customers with finding products, operating food production equipment, stocking, cleanliness, and handling payments at the register.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills and knowledge of food safety guidelines.
• Must be able to operate POS system and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to read and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds."

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions and locate items on the floor.
• Prepare made-to-order food items following standard recipes and portion guidelines.
• Operate the register and process cash/credit payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and food prep areas.
