Job summary

GATE Petroleum is hiring a Food Service Associate for our Jacksonville-area stores. You will provide friendly, efficient customer service, assist with food preparation, and help manage store operations to ensure a clean, well-stocked environment.

You will train with Store Kitchen and Store Managers, handling payments and supporting food safety protocols while contributing to a fast-paced, guest-focused team.

Qualifications

• Must complete pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English at a level sufficient to communicate with customers and team members.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions about products or services.
• Prepare made-to-order food items according to set menu and recipes.
• Operate register to process cash and card payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of store, shelves, and equipment.
• Assist in training new and existing team members on food preparation and safety procedures.
