You will handle payments, coordinate with the kitchen, and maintain a high standard of hospitality in a fast-paced setting. This tipped position emphasizes friendly, professional service, attention to detail, and teamwork with hosts and kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• One year of restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and enjoyment of hospitality industry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail for accurate orders and payments.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including dietary restrictions.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating tips.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner.
• Take drink orders and follow policy regarding service of alcohol.
• Communicate specials or promotions and make recommendations.
• Answer questions about the menu, allergies or special requests.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Enter food and beverage orders into the POS system.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure on-time delivery.
• Serve food and beverages promptly with accuracy and presentation.
• Check on guests during meals and address requests or concerns.
• Refill drinks and clear plates during dining experience.
• Provide attentive, personalized service and anticipate needs.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and involve management when needed.
• Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Present checks and process payments quickly and accurately.
• Comply with FLSA and state tip regulations and reporting requirements.
