Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in a visible role at the check lane
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
• Understand the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers and coupons per policy
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs) and report pricing discrepancies
• Stay current with ads and promotions; ensure food safety and safety procedures are followed
