Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Cashier at Methodist Southwest Med Ctr in Dallas, TX. You will process transactions, balance cash, and deliver top-tier customer service in a fast-paced health care setting.

Responsibilities include operating the register, assisting customers, balancing drawers, and maintaining a clean, safe work area throughout your shift. Training in Food Handler and Alcohol Service may be required by location.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Balance cash drawer, fill cashier slip, and make deposits.
• Adhere to Aramark cash handling policies and procedures.
• Know merchandise to assist customers and process transactions accurately.
• Open and close procedures as assigned by unit operating hours.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at shift end.
• Keep product stocked and replenish items as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
