Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You will process transactions, balance cash, and deliver excellent customer service while greeting guests and assisting with their needs.

Responsibilities include operating a register, counting cash, and maintaining accurate deposits, while following Aramark's cash handling policies. Training for Food Handler and Alcohol Service may be required by location.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience helpful.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out cashier slip and make deposits.
• Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
• Understand and be knowledgeable of merchandise for sale to assist customers and process transactions.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned for unit based on operating hours.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift.
• Ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels and replenish items as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
