Houchens Food Group is seeking a full-time Cashier in our Grocery department. Responsibilities include handling cash, credit and checks, and providing friendly service to customers. You will operate the register, balance drawers, and assist with bagging and stocking as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure accuracy.
• Greet customers entering store.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
• Weigh items sold by weight to determine prices.
• Record all sales at time of purchase.
• Assist with bagging and stocking as needed.
• Follow company policy and resolve customer concerns promptly.
